Sylvia Lokhoff de Bruijn!

The star of today's post is Netherlands resident Sylvia Lokhoff de Bruijn, a prolific artist who uses a wide range of media.

Today's first art samples are shown in two of Sylvia's photos below.  Her overlapping, repeated use of 6" x 6" Sassy Spray s465 has resulted in art that brings the jungle alive right here before our eyes.  This is a brilliant example of what imagination can do.  Sylvia definitely used this mask in a far better way than I ever have, and I thank her sincerely for allowing me to use her photos here. 

Water-based inks and embossing powder were the two main ingredients used in Sylvia's developing the eye-catching art below.

Above:  Sylvia used another StencilGirl mask to create the blue and green background in this striking piece.  Her foreground features embossing powder used with my 9" x 12" Fantasia L450.  The inset in the upper left was created using a mask of corresponding design, in Artist Trading Card size, that's included in ATC Mixup Swatton # 1 L768.

Above:  Along the bottom of this artwork, Sylvia has used my 9" x 12" Tangled Pods L344 in a highly creative way -- this design forms the pattern on the model's dress.

Today's last art sample is shown in two of Sylvia's photos below.  Here she has used a flower-dominated collection of masks and stencils from StencilGirlProducts.com.  Among them are my 6" x 6" Mikki's Flowers Stencil s604 as well as its corresponding Mikki's Flowers Mask s605 of the same size.
